Since getting his start in distribution in June of 1987 with the publicly held Coast Distribution System, Inc., Randy has spent three decades in the industry and is still going strong. At age 26, Randy was promoted to vice president and regional manager of distribution, transportation and sales operations for Coast’s Southern California facility. In 1996 a promotion brought Randy to the corporate office as vice president of customer service and operations for the U.S. and Canada. With a growing passion to be in business for himself, Randy partnered with two other long-time colleagues to purchase and grow Aladdin Transportation and Warehousing, Inc. in January of 2004. Aladdin has provided Randy the platform to deeply engage in international trade. Randy immersed himself in industry associations and conferences, including the U.S. Customs Trade Support Network and Trade Leadership Council , where he provided leadership and insight regarding multimodal operations and supply chain management. Randy and partners successfully sold Aladdin in 2014. After taking some personal time with family, Randy joined Airport Drayage Co. as the Director of Development to build solutions that help transition the third-generation family business onto a long-term sustainable path.
